Everyone keeps on talking about diet but… you know what - I don’t care!

I don’t exactly recall when was the time when it have happened. Sadly, it definitely had to occur somehow. Imperceptibly. A few years ago, it was popular to cook and eat delicious meal with your friends. Or to go out with your colleagues for good restaurant. And nobody talked about calories! We were just enjoying the meal! Nowadays, it seems that lots of people have destroyed this pleasure for themselves.

They cannot enjoy this anymore as all they could think about during a delicious meal is:

a/ how many calories does this food have?



b/ is this genuinely healthy?

c/ should I indeed eat this?

I wouldn’t overemphasise if I say that I hate it. I love food! I really believe that this is one of the main pleasures in our life. There are number of studies that present that people who are on neverending diet are much more unhappy. Some researches also show that fat people are happier. Apparently, we are not talking about people morbidly obese. With food is just like with any other area of life – do not cross the line; moderation is required. What I mean by it is – you can’t eat such large quantities that you become sick. It is so obvious that I will not to discuss it more here. But at the same time I am conviced that sticking just to healthy food may not be too great for you too. I am sure that you also know these people that are always on diet. Their characteristic is that they wnder and discuss about food all the time! That is very obvious why It works like that – you are much more likely to think about something which you can’t cannot have. Imagine that you feel like having pizza or snackpellets - snackpellets.

Normally, you will just eat this and simply don’t thinki about it for a while. But if you are on neverending diet, you struggle with yourself not to eat that. In that way, you are going to about these snackpellets for another days! I am female thus I completely understand that all of us want to be attractive and slim - get more information about it. However, wouldn’t it be smarter to eat something what you desperately want to and do some swimming in the evening? Or to stay in a gym for a bit longer next day? Both good food and sport could give you much pleasure. Why not to connect them and use benefit of both of them simultaneously!
